I may be out of chocolate at the moment…

…but I am on a serious organizational roll.

This is, naturally, out of desperate necessity. I have a book to write and a messy house that stands in the way. It’s one thing to be shuffling through disorganized shelves searching for that one book that describes how the Fugger family of merchants acquired the silver mines of Tyrol and subsequently lured the Holy Roman Emperor into ruin; it’s quite another to be building costumes on the living room coffee table because the studio’s a wreck.

I’m beginning to think of this project in theatrical terms: as an extended tech week with additional writing.

And you know what we call tech week? Hell week.

Ah, but don’t worry. It’ll all be over in May.

Now, for the organization that doesn’t involve scraps of fabric and pumpkin guts:

I’ll be blogging about writing-related items here and cross posting them to my Live Journal account. On Live Journal, I’ll also be blogging updates to my 101 things in 1001 days list. As soon as I get this shit together and that shit together (because lord knows I am incapable of getting all of my shit together in a single location), I’ll be back to food and feline blogging on Belly Timber, and green blogging on Walking Distance.

Do not expect a post on every blog every day, because, really, do I sound even remotely that organized?
